His combo is W-auto, walk up, then E-pull you back the moment your Stormraider's Surge drops: no escape, you die. Only trade in melee right next to your tower.

Once you have Stridebreaker, Q-E-Stridebreaker active then run: the slow lets you re-proc Stormraider's Surge for a safe poke. It's your only trade against a Darius who uses E well.

Start W at level 1 so he can't zone you off XP, take 3 early points in Q then max E, and farm to scale: you ignore him in lane rather than fight.
